My parents were extremely strict and manners came first. Hear this out before jumping to any conclusions please, i would like to give you a bigger picture and hope to figure out why others are so drawn to me in real life. I’m only a housewife right now with looks and a smile that of a model. I avoid men like no tomorrow because of receiving so much unwanted attention. Women in their early 40’s and older will often smile and or say hello to me. I always reply back usually with a smile and asking how their day is going. Lately, several women have been overly sticky with me once they see that I’m friendly. Sticky people scare me, I never know how to shoo them off without feeling like I’m being rude. I try to look down or distracted yet some will start following me once they start talking. I say “please excuse me I need to go” which works but my gosh why do these people have to be this drawn to me? Inwardly I’m thinking “leave me the eff alone, I’m not here on a social call”. I have been told that I have a glowing personality but I don’t know how I can do my shopping and just fit in like everyone else while doing so. Its taking my joy out of being out and about. How can I change this?
