I love you. For the past seven years I have loved you fiercely. It was like a thunderbolt the first time I saw you..you where so beautiful. Then you had to go and open your gorgeous lips and talk to me in a low voice, all about goodness and make me laugh. If it had of stopped with you being beautiful on the outside we wouldn’t be in the place we are now. I have watched with pride, you graduate college, first second and third jobs. When you told me you’d become a citizen I wanted to shout to the world. When I see you growing,learning and pushing your own boundary a to reach your goals it makes me burst with joy. I saw you once, sweeping at your place of worship. You didn’t know I saw you..or that if only ever go there because it was a connection to you. Giving of your free time to be of service to others and the community, is so humbling to me. By your example I have tried to become a better person myself. Once you jokingly told me you where going away for good to another land. You don’t know how much I cried.in public. It didn’t matter. I knew id be broken without you. You told me you had to marry her and I never doubted your honesty. Knowing your background, it’s easy from a western perspective to Just say ” stand up for your love “! Without thinking of the ripple effects for your family and the community , that’s very real I know. There are a million things I’ll miss I could write and write and fail to capture what we have had and continue to share adequately . I love that you still love me. After you married I did too I couldn’t bear the thought of you not being mine. Funny thing is I have realised ….I always was all along. You have never left my side darling. And I hope you never do . I know you may be torn, I’m not asking you to choose one life or the other thought is gladly welcome you with open arms anytime..I hate to think I give you mental tension. Knowing you has made me believe there are good men in the world . I will always cherish you my darling .and even though I am the other woman in the eyes of the world, I think to you, I am the woman.
