I don’t know who I am. My mother says I’m anorexic, but from what I have been exposed to of anorexics; they are teenage little girls trying to lose weight. Calling it “ana” and acting serious about it when it was their own choice to go down that path. There are people who actually have it, who didn’t choose it. Yet these little immature kids keep saying all these “pro-ana” things and making blogs, with body checks, and stuff that they know they can stop. It doesn’t only piss me off, but it makes me sad. Sad, because what has our world come to. Girls forcing themselves into “eating disorders” when they have an actual chance at a healthy, successful life. I am no Christian, but they have been blessed with the fat on their bodies. Millions of other people would kill to have what they have. I understand it if the girls actually have anorexia, but to choose it. To choose it…… That is so beyond wrong….. I know so much about anorexia, I accidentally got caught up in it now. I can’t get out. I damn wish I could. I didn’t even notice until I was underweight and my mom told me. 2 days ago. Yes, I knew I hated my body and I would constantly compare myself to other girls. But I never compared myself to the pain that anorexics go through. But am I going through that pain. Did I not know I am as hurt as them? I don’t know. This is just one confession, one part of my life. What about my dad, my sister, my drug use, my lies, there is so much in each person. I could never tell it all. I lost track of where I am now
