I was 14 when I got pregnant. I had my daughter alone because my parents moved me away to my grandmother to keep me away from the boy who got me pregnant. I told him but a few weeks later I left and was forbidden to contact him.

Nearly twenty years later my soon to be 19 year old daughter and I were in at outlet stores for college stuff and I saw him. The father of my daughter. They finally met. He claims he looked for me. I don’t know if it’s true but he is not the ‘wanna be thug’ my parents made him out to be. He was with his family of his own now. His wife was shocked understandably.

My daughter and her dad will catch up and he seems really happy to find us. I hope this all has a happy ending. I also hope I can explain my side of everything as well…
