A young woman at work is 5.5 months pregnant and taking those fat burning pills. A few of us saw the bottle and her trying to be unnoticed as she took them. She doesn’t know that anyone saw her. She wears a size 0 and has said she wants to stay that way. She eats all the time and is constantly running to the bathroom to puke. Now I wonder if the sickness is her making herself throw up. None of us know what to do. If her child is born, is born, with health issues because of her vanity she isnt in the position financially or otherwise to handle them. My coworkers and I would like to talk with her but its her life and her choices. Its a tricky subject to bring up and HR might get involved. She already has two children by two different men and shes 21. We’ve all been very supportive of her so far; helping her out at work and home. We probably will continue to do so if not for her then for the baby. I wish she would realize the consequences of her actions and stop.
