So, uh, yeah. I never picked at scabs. Since it’s gross.
Recently I got a fairly large scab (don’t ask).
I didn’t pick at it, as is my habit. But when it was nearly all gone/healed (it was disintegrating as it healed from the sides) I picked at a small bit I thought was ready to go. In the process, I did get it off, but I also stripped off a small bit of skin, which began to bleed. So I stuck the piece of scab I’d picked off onto the new “wound” and it’s made a new scab altogether.
