I lied my way into a teaching job at a major British university more than twenty years ago. Far from holding a Ph.D, in fact I hold no more than four CSE’s.

I am now a senior lecturer. Neither my spouse nor any of my colleagues know the truth. If (“when” – I shall come clean at some point) the truth comes out, there will be hundreds of students wondering if their degrees are worth anything. (They are – the important thing is the awarding institution, not the Tutor.)
