I’ve been in love with a girl for years. We dated from November last year into March this year. We split up after she admitted that I was “simply rebound.” Ever since we met in primary, I’ve had a massive crush on her. It’s been years since we first met. She (very briefly) admitted to fancying me in year 12 and that the reason she didn’t say so earlier was because she didn’t know if I was gay as well. Every summer, she goes to Plymouth to visit her folks. She’s back in town as of last night. I’ve asked her to go to Vue Cinema, TopShop and Nando’s with me tomorrow to catch up. I’ve thought about asking her out again, though I simply lack confidence and fear rejection. I’ve loved her for years. I don’t know what to do and I feel terribly lost and confused.
