Today, I realized how much of an adult I am. I apologized to my enemies for my wrong doings. There was one particular person who acted really immature about the situation though. He was a previous ex – boyfriend. I had caught him texting his current girlfriend when him and I were together, he popped pills without me knowing, and then took me on a date with a few of his best friends (his previous ex being one of them). So a few days back, I had gave in to The Lord, and turned my life around for the good. I decided to message him on Facebook and told him “I need to talk to you. It’s important. I’m not trying to get back with you. I just need to get some things off my chest. Text me alright.” He then decided to block me on Facebook, but then just today he decided he was going to text me. Saying “Hey. Delete those pictures of you and me off of Facebook.” Little did he know, that I had deleted my Facebook about two days ago. So I had told him that I had deleted it. So he continues: “why did you want to talk to me anyway?” I told him “I was recently saved and that I had wanted to do right by God, by apologizing for leaving without letting him have an explanation.” He then make a big deal out of me trying to apologize and says : “I don’t want to be your friend. I’m perfectly happy with my life. I just want you to leave me the f*%# alone.” I then proceed to ask: “So if you don’t want to talk to me, then why did you text me?” He says : “I just wanted to make sure those pictures were gone.” I end the conversation with : “why would I? You are the one who planned to cheat on me. You popped pills. And took me on our first date with your ex girlfriend and your best friends. So word of advice, don’t cheat on the girl that you tried getting with while you were with me. Okay?”
He didn’t reply after that. All I wanted to do was apologize and make things right. He didn’t have to be my friend. But an accepted apology would be nice. You never know how or when you are going to die. So don’t take those for granted who care.
