Almost two years ago my grandmother passed from cancer. From what I was told anyone who was sick should have stayed back as much as possible because it wasnt good for her to be around the germs. Well I lived with her, and my mother, and I was always doing as much as possible for her because she couldnt move much without it hurting. One week I had stayed home from school because I was feeling a bit sick in my throat..but I continued to do anything she had needed including bringing her drinks, helping her to another room and getting her food. Well later that same week I walked into her room and saw her shaking slightly. I held her hand for a moment and rushed to get my mom who called my aunt who rushed over along with more aunts and uncles and cousins. A few moments after my aunt sat beside her I heard her crying and she was gone. Ever since then I have felt that if I hadnt been near her as much I wouldnt have gotten all the germs around her and maybe she would have been alive a little longer.. I have also regretted not holding her hand longer or saying I love you more then I did, but mostly I blame myself for speeding along my grandmothers death.
