Modern feminists really piss me off. This is my opinion because of a few reasons. Reason #1: Not all men are complete pigs who want to get into your pants and take advantage of you. When a man compliments you or tries to buy you a drink, be thankful, but don’t automatically assume they want to have s** with you. They may think you’re beautiful or cute enough to buy a drink for. They may see that you look tired or stressed from a long day, or maybe they’re just feeling jealous. Reason #2: MEN ARE NOT THE ONLY WHO R*** AND WOMEN ARE NOT THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO GET RAPED. Men get raped as well and women are sometimes as bad as men are. Guess what? The world wouldn’t be better off with men. It’d probably be boring, in fact. If you were ever raped, that doesn’t mean you need to hate every man who exists, it means you hate the man who did that to you. You weren’t raped by the population of men on this Earth, you were raped by a bad person who deserves to die. Reason #3: I, myself, am a girl. I’ve never once felt oppressed by a man. I have a wonderful boyfriend and I work in an office full of men and never once have I felt threatened by any of them, nor have I felt that they were oppressing me. Once in a while I get something like, “Hey ____, you look good today!” It doesn’t make me feel threatened. I don’t want to gasp and then call them out on doing that. I feel very happy. It makes me feel good to know that I look good. Not every man is a pig. Not every man is a r*****. Not every man will attack you when you’re alone. Not every man is very manly (so to speak.) Women expect men to be strong and manly, and women are sometimes expected to be the more vulnerable ones. How is that so wrong? Sure, some women may not like being seen as weaker compared to a man, but that’s just how it is. I wouldn’t want to be as strong as my boyfriend or any other man in my office. I want to be a dainty girl sometimes, and I want to be complimented. Women don’t need to “speak up” for me. I can do it myself. I’m a big girl and modern feminists don’t always realize that we all have different opinions, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
