To be honest, I can’t understand why people in relationships have the privilege to attend things that really good friends don’t have.
We’re at at family gathering/festival thing and I finally decided to bring it up to someone, but she told me that it’s much different.
Being the type that has absolutely no interest in being in a relationship at all, it does bother me when she says she wants to bring her boyfriend, yet bringing friends is inappropriate. She’s only known the guy for a little over a year, too. I have friends from years back in high school and beyond, yet it’s not appropriate to have them over. We don’t spend most of the time with family anyway, so what is the huge deal about letting friends experience something entertaining and new that some stranger is so privileged to experience?
