I have to work with my mother-in-law AND my sister-in-law.

They’re good workers but my MIL uses everyone as an emotional punching bag, consistently complaining about EVERYTHING to EVERYONE. She goes to our boss everyday and goes to his office to b**** about one of our co-workers. It’s gotten to the point where she has become a punchline to some people.

However, when someone else wants to vent a little, she is completely apathetic towards them.

My sister-in-law is equally self absorbed. It’s like everyone in that family has to be the centre of attention or else they fall apart.

They’re such a judgmental bunch and racist too.

I really want to quit my job but it seems irrational to quit a great job just because I have to deal with my in-laws.

It really depresses me to be around them. I just don’t want to exist when I have to deal with them.
