In the last 2 weeks or so I have come to realize that my coworker has been cheating on his time sheet at work. We fill it in using our computer and there is no way of checking to see if we have put the correct time – the boss just trusts us. I was tasked with taking the time sheets to payroll last week and this week. I noted that the guy in the office next to me entered that he came in at 7 each morning and I know this isn’t so. He also put his time out as 3 pm and I have seen him leave at 230, 235, even 215. I just don’t think this is fair to those of us that are being honest but he is really close to the boss; they party together after work and I think they’ve even gone camping on weekends together. I fear if I try to say something, it will come back to haunt me.
