mary mackillop catholic church birkdale really needs a good paint over. every time I go past I hate seeing these ugly water drain stains down the outer walls of the boring slabs of cement walls… I think it could seriously improve with some rust colored paint on the walls that look more interesting and maybe some cream or federation green edging or something to brighten the place up. maybe a work for the dole group could get in and clean it up and paint it. I think disability and aged and single mum people could do with some good honest work for the dole folk as well to help with odd bod jobs around the home, even if its moving some rubbish or furniture or helping to clean clutter or walls or tap repairs…
