You laugh and call them ‘red necks’, and you’re making fun of them. The truth is I’ve been there. When you’re poor, you make do with what you’ve got. You do your best with what’s available to you. Why is that so damn funny? If you think it’s a disgrace, why don’t you stop pointing and laughing and go over there to offer your help so they can do things in what you think is the proper way?

Fact of the matter is, when things go to hell the poor people out in the country who have had to live their whole lives getting by on what’s around them… these are the people who will survive.
