Seven years ago, I worked in a male-dominated field, and I hated it. Then my wife landed a high-paying position, and suddenly I didn’t have to worry about paying the bills. I could do anything I wanted to do for a career, so I went back to college and got my M.A. in Teaching.

While I love teaching, one of my secondary motivations was always that I wanted to work in a place with mostly women. And I hit the jackpot – an all-girls high school, with mostly female coworkers.

My old colleagues, at the male-dominated job, always complained about the lack of female coworkers and customers. When I told them what I do now, they get so jealous, and I love it.
