Just saw a news article about a kid who killed his parents because they took away his ipod. they never abused the kid or anything. He was just pissed because they took away his toy. And what about the guy who went on a rampage because he couldn’t get laid? This sense of entitlement being instilled in today’s youth is dangerous. Parents aren’t teaching their kids right from wrong, or how to value what they have and be considerate, or how to be a contributing part of society. They don’t DISCIPLINE them anymore! Parents are so afraid of looking uncool or being viewed as harsh that they let their kids get away with anything, give them everything, and never think about how they’re screwing their kids up by being their friend and not their parent!

So depressing. And so freaking scary.
