My somewhat newly wed friends are having some… issues. She’s pent up, very pent up. He smokes and it is killing his s** drive. They’ve had s** once in the last 3 weeks. It was apparently over very quickly and he said afterwards “that you (she) should be good for awhile now, right?” I know him, I didn’t think he could be this… A******-ish, for lack of a more eloquent term. I knew he could throw some harsh words her way but I thought at the very least they satisfied each other, I know they used to.
Tonight, we were chatting on Skype while he was ignoring her to watch TV. She told me she’d sent him a s*** pic (non-n***) earlier and he didn’t respond. When she asked him about it later, she thought maybe he didn’t get it, he said he got it and just wasn’t interested. She’s petite and a little over weight, so she has issues with her body image, this is not helping. She admitted she’d sent it to a weird friend of hers who has a crush on her, just to get a compliment on it. Then she sent it to me and asked my opinion. I told her honestly, she looked great. After I said she was beautiful, I asked half joking if I was becoming her gay friend (worth noting I’m not gay). Her response was that I would never be her gay friend, if anything, I quote “I was a little brother she could sleep with” She said I was easily in the top ten guys she would, if she wasn’t married and even thought about sleeping with me while they were broken up a few years back. She didn’t try because she didn’t want to give me the STI she has.

She’s my friend, so is he. When they are, they are a great couple, but something is so wrong right now! I have to be there for her, she’s the best girl who is my friend I’ve ever had and she was there when I needed her. I don’t know if I should talk to him or leave it be. I guess I could see how things go from here but I kind of want to slap him in the face and tell him how lucky he is, tell him to quit smoking and love his wife, because for god sake she deserves to be happy. She’s not going to leave you, she loves you too much, but that doesn’t mean you can walk all over her
