I grew up in the deep south in a school that was mostly black students and I was harassed, teased, bullied, and sometimes physically hurt by them for being white. But the principal (a white man) wouldn’t do nnything because he was afraid of being accused of being racist. so they got away with it and now I’m uncomfortable around black people. I keep expecting to be harmed because this i what I came to expect through experience. Yet I get called racist for it. that’s not what this is.
