I’m friends with a woman on facebook, several years older than me. She’s been posting pictures of her grandkids at their dance recital – and it really bothers me. Not because I get tired of seeing pics of the kids… it’s because these little girls, aged 6-10, are posing on stage in skimpy little outfits, showing more skin than I’d EVER show!

It disgusts me! These girls are being taught at a young age that it’s acceptable and even desirable to show off their bodies for attention! And I’m fairly certain their dances were probably sexed up too= because, let’s face it, that’s what is trendy these days. It’s just ‘accepted’, and I don’t see WHY mothers are letting their little daughters do this! Do you WANT your daughter to grow up thinking she’s only valuable for her appearance and how s*** she comes off to others? They say it’s “Cute” but it’s not! It’s horrible! Imagine all of the pedophiles who could be looking at your photos, or even sitting in the audience at that dance and thinking perverted thoughts about those little girls! DON’T MAKE IT EASIER FOR THEM!

RRRGH it makes me so ANGRY. At least let them wait until they’re teenagers to start dressing like prostitutes!
