Printing, of any kind, is a dying business. Small print shops are going bankrupt left and right all over the nation, but somehow this one franchise shop is growing. I’ve worked in printing for years and I know a lot of people in the industry and somehow our this new business has managed to absorb the worst of the worst.

The chick who decided to go on a crack binge during a late night shift, cut her finger off in the guillotine and couldn’t go to the hospital because, duh, she’s on crack.

The graphic artist who works steadily for a few months before going on a binge, drinking his way into a stupor, and disappearing into the streets for weeks or months at a time.

The manic depressive sales lady who also keeps small bottles of vodka and pills in her desk.

The pool shark/press operator who has 100 excuses as to why he could not come into work that day (none of which have to do with his staying out all night hustling pool).

The angry vehicle wrapper who will not get her diabetes under control and will lose her s*** if you play too much punk.

This business is doomed. We’re getting sales calls from their fallout every day. I’m loving it.
