I have a remit I stick to, I never mention past relationships with current partners. Obviously because my current partner has a son I know she was involved with somebody else and I’ts not a problem.

But her sons been asking about his dad, his dad fucked off when he found out he was going to be a daddy. She’s telling him more than I need know. I knew the ‘dad’ fucked off and I knew his first name thats all I wanted or needed to know.

Now she’s making excuses for him but only for my benefit, so what if he hadn’t fucked off I wouldn’t exist. Oh he was young we both were, he was scared and had a life and parents who wanted the best for him.

I’m thinking about tracking down my partners ex BF’s family and sending them a pic of the son/grandson nephew they didn’t want to know. Not my place but if her son is anything like his mum (my partner) he’d go about it the wrong way and I don’t want my partner upset
