Self hating females really annoy the hell out of me. But what is a self hating female?

A self hating female considers the word female offensive while thinking the word male is perfectly okay.

Womanly, feminine, and girly are insults to self hating females and yet manly, masculine, and macho are positive.

A feminine and girly heroine is sexist. She has to be like a man to be a good heroine. Basically create a male character and add b**** but not too big because big b**** are sexist. Hear that ladies with large breasts? Your mere existence is sexist.

If a male character goes to the ends of the earth and sacrifices so much for the woman he loves its romantic. What a hero, a prince, a knight, her savior. If a female character does the same for a male character its sexist. Her life revolves around a male character harumph! So sexist! She should be asexual, single, or lesbian. Women loving men and wanting to do much for them is sexist! Harumph! Harumph!

I admit when I was a middle school gal I had traces of self hatred and they haven’t entirely left me. I have moments where I have to catch myself and be like “no no that is not sexist or offensive I’m just not entirely comfortable in my own skin.” I still have traces here and there. But I no longer hate feminine, girly, and womanly. I dont have to be like a man in order to be important and neither do you.
