This is the goodbye I will never get to say to my grandparents…you both knew my father was dying of cancer, that my sister and I were only kids. My sister 17 and I only 11. You came down here to Care for us during that time because my mother had to go with my father hundreds of miles away for months to receive treatments. You abused us mentally and physically. I was a vivacious girl, I loved life! Yet you destroyed that because you didn’t like me, or my mother or my sister. All because we weren’t white Americans, we were half Hispanic and come from a different culture. Growing up I never knew if I was american or Hispanic , thanks for helping me choose which to identify with. F*** you and your fake christian s***. A true “christian” would never tell their son it would be better if they had died, feed their grand daughters food that would make them sick on purpose or resent their daughter in law for wanting to go back to her country during a difficult time in her life. Spanish was my first language and you did not let me speak it. You forbid me and monitored my convos with my parents by sitting in the room with me. You two acted like paranoid criminals afraid that word of your abuse would get out. You took away one of my two pairs of shoes because you didn’t like the way I walked. You saw I hit a major depression where I stopped bathing, eating or changing clothes. I was dying inside at such a young age. You made fun of me mercilessly. You told me you would never forgive me? For what!? I was a kid, I didn’t do anything except stand up with my sister against you the last day of your stay. The look on your faces when we blared spanish music whilst screamed “f*** you” and said how much we hated you in spanish. For the longest time I wished you both death, I hated you. Now I am indifferent as to whether or not I love either of you. You see, to me you died 14 years ago when you took advantage of my family when I almost lost my father. He is still good to you, but you two miserable cunts don’t deserve his love. So to my grandmother who was neither grand nor motherly, thanks for teaching me that blood is not always thicker than water. To my not so grand nor fatherly grandfather, thanks for teaching me that just because I am your grand daughter I am not beautiful in your eyes, worth loving or special. My sister and I were always treated as less by you two and my great grandmother (grandfathers old b**** mother) because we weren’t boys. Because we weren’t super skinny with short hair. You told my mother she fed us too much and that we were over weight because of my mother. No you stupid fat old c***, we are fat because of your lousy genetics. You are morbidly obese and my mother is thin. Geee, I wonder why I’m a heavy broad. Let’s see, my moms entire family is thin yet you and your whale pack of a family were always huge, F*** you! I am curvy with long hair and proud. You hated us because you could not control us. So now I am finally laying you two to rest along with my 11 year old self that you killed years ago. I want you to remember me every day, when I was only 11, scared and lost in this world. I hope I haunt your memories and posses your guilt like a violent demon. I don’t wish you harm nor death anymore, but I do wish you to remember and to feel the sting of guilt. I do not feel sorry for you getting old or being lonely. You two chose to be lonely. Oh and here’s a treat for you, the only grandson you have is emo with long hair, fat and seems awfully gay. Take that you baptist b******!
