Both my father and sister have a ton of health problems that they are in absolute denial about. When they have things wrong they ignore them until they literally have to be hospitalized. If they had just dealt with the issues when then first arrived they probably wouldn’t be in the hospital at all, but they act like stupid children about it not realizing that they only make matters worse for themselves and our family. As I sit in the hospital with my sister right now who has been suffering in agony from what is very likely kidney stones I don’t feel a lot of sympathy. I’m actually angry which makes me feel super guilty. I felt the same way last month when I spent 4 days in the hospital with my dad when he was vomiting blood (took him a week to tell me). I feel awful that I’m not more sympathetic but they exacerbate their own problems and then me and my other sister have to deal with the repercussions.
