My roommate’s 9YO son is creepy, and sometimes so is she. Otherwise normal-ish in the day-to-day, but their codependency issues bleed into gross sexualized stuff. She is a 36YO single mom who has given up on the idea of dating and tends to helicopter around her son’s every movement. Her son demands a lot of attention and even at 9, throws kicking & screaming tantrums to get his way. I am a single female. When I moved in a couple months ago, he put on a cocky expression and announced he was going to take his shirt off, then did so and refused to put it back on while walking near me – until I just noped outta there and went to my room. There’s a daily thing where the mom is watching TV and he wants to sit on her and cuddle, and they share repetitive kisses. Then he demands to sleep with her at night and gets upset if she says no. When it’s time for him to shower, he makes a point of calling for her while he’s in there and not clarifying until she steps in. He also demands that she wash his body and gets upset if she declines – but it seems like sometimes she doesn’t decline and she hovers to see if he was “thorough.” Creeps me right the f*** out. Planning to move asap.
