Years ago I was in a car with a 4 yr old. I was coming out of a driveway and soft-stopped at the edge of the parking lot before crossing the sidewalk to the street. I heard a THUNK. A kid about 8 yrs old, riding his bike on the sidewalk (not legal), hit the passenger side of the car. I got out, stunned. Asked the kid if he were okay. Straightened the bike out. He said he was ok, rode off. I feel bad.
