Back in the summer I was supposed to go to a BBQ with my boyfriend. Long story short, I couldn’t stay long so he went without me. I spent the afternoon alone. Then he complained about how bored he was. I had my nails done, did my hair and bought new clothes all so that he would be proud to be with me. I was hurt.

Apparently I still am because I’m choosing a NYE dress based on how much he’ll hate it. We’re going out for a family thing on my side so I’m going with or without him. We never go anywhere I can dress up… It’d be nice for someone to look at me for a change.
