I’m 10 years old and I have been called mature for my age and I am. I’ve skipped two grades and have been bullied for it. it didn’t last long because I’m smart and know how to defend myself and what they said didn’t really bother me because I know that they are jealous idiots. But It did make me realize that us kids look up to adults and this is what they teach us. On the outside they have a farce of everything being “good will” but on the inside it’s dirty and corrupt. At my school there was a teacher on the verge of Kermitting die because of the constant hate going towards them from both students and teachers. There is no reason for it or anything.
Us as children are sensitive towards everything in our childhood and learn from watching and listening to our peers/adults. The reason why kids are so judgemental are because the adults are. It’s a cycle that can’t be broken because it’s like a mental disease that spreads like a wild fire. Kids learn it from the adults then the kid gets friends and then the kid teaches those kids and then those kids do the same and then they are adults and they have kids and then they teach their kids and then it repeats.
I am aware that me writing this out on some random site wont help but even if I were to try to do something about it it won’t work. The only thing I can do is grow up and live like everyone else. Day by day. Seeing this corrupt world yet Ill be too cowardly and scared to show my face and try and fail at making a change. Purely because we are taught that as kids. We are taught to bow down in diversity and just do as we are told. Shut up and keep our opinions to ourselves. Adults were kids once so how is it that they don’t realize that this sort of system both socially and mentality just leaves a ball of doubt in us?
I understand that there are people out there trying really hard to make a change but if they really do want to then they should target the schooling system and help the adults of the future thrive instead of having so much fear that it stops them in their tracks. There are kids out there who will grow like that because of their positivity and hope but that’s only a few out of thousands. On a guess that would be 1 out of 500 kids.
It’s upsetting that I’m 10 and realize how cruel the world is already. My circumstance doesn’t matter to how I came to understand these facts but honesty wish that I didn’t even if I should or eventually will.
Why do we have to suffer?
