I don’t think he was merciful. He didn’t need to give them the memories that he had to kill them for so they didn’t remember. That’s like Trevor Phillips running down the sidewalk at full hilt bowling over people as if they were bowling pins and yelling “That was YOUR fault” as he flies by.

His last killing he walked in on;a sorority house at night, and blunt force traumaed them with a chunk of wood he found outside! I think it was a hunk of wood. I forget. In no way was he merciful. He was an animal. He’d break jaws.
