I had an abortion today… at age 35, married for five years and with my spouse for ten… we aren’t the obvious abortion candidates but when i got pregnant a bit too soon after taking out my IUD we decided it was right for us. Do plan to try to get pregnant in the next 6-12 months, this moment in time unfortunately carried too much trauma for me from previous experiences (pre-hubs, s***** assault when i was way younger) I couldn’t go through with having an October baby. I am so confident we made the right decision for me, and my excellent, attentive, feminist husband. Basically sorry not sorry. Such relief!
