I have been dating this girl for eight years and we met online. I lived in Colorado and she lived in Georgia. Well, for eight years we never met in person. Then, I made a friend in Colorado who is exactly like me, in almost every way.
When I moved east this fall, I was looking forward and anticipating the moment that her and I would meet. And when we did, it was like the eight years meant nothing. It was like meeting a completely different person.
Sadly enough, I can’t be myself around her because the things that I really want to say are out of love, but not out of sympathy. She loves me dearly and doesn’t want to let me go.
So does this friend I have in Colorado, which I visited before Christmas and learned that this friend of mine loves me too.
I just wanted to move, I didn’t want to f*** around with two peoples hearts. I haven’t seen or spoken to either in weeks, and I am going to just go with what I want.
Driving four hours to break up with someone? F****** great.
