You are disgrace. You are nothing but selfish, lazy, mooching trash.

We’re a poor family. We always have been. But just because you’re poor doesn’t mean you have to be trash. You can be poor and still take care of yourself and what you have to the best of your ability. My husband works 6 days a week and we give half his pay to our mom every week to help with expenses. I’m disabled and unable to work but I wash dishes, take care of the pets, clean the house, and try to do some freelance stuff on the computer to bring in a little extra income. Mom works her fingers to the bone as she has since we were kids, holding down difficult cleaning jobs and struggling to make sure we have a place to live.

But you, dear sister?

You work, but Mom never sees any of your money. I know you’re buying drugs again. Where else would your money be going?

When you get home you get into your pajamas and you slouch on the couch and watch a tv that someone else paid for, using the roku and internet that someone else is paying for. You eat and waste groceries that someone else bought, you leave your dirty, food-covered plates and half full glasses of soda or alcohol sitting in the living room, and they would stay there and start molding if WE didn’t move them because you are such a lazy filthy wretch.

You don’t take care of your own car. When it has issues you get bitchy and expect everyone else to take care of it for you, and you refuse to admit that it’s your fault the thing is breaking down. You never clean up around the house. EVER. You only mess up and use and use and use.

If you could get on welfare I know you would. But you’re on probation and so it’s impossible.

You make it so hard to get along with you.
