I’m 66, and I was today diagnosed with renal cancer. I never married, and so, I have no children. As a younger man, I engaged in many s***** sins, for much or even most of which, I have already confessed to Christian believers and in one case, to a Christian pastor. I confess today that I have viewed p********** almost daily since the age of about 10 or 11 and for all of my adult life. In fact, I looked at it earlier today. I viewed it as an aid to m***********, and in fact, until recently, I never even regarded viewing p********** as a sin. That’s because I found relief from stress in the m***********, and I convinced myself, whether true or not, that the habit of m*********** allowed me to contain my lust for women. I’m not sure if the m*********** is a sin or not. My inclination is to believe that in itself, it is not, but watching or looking at p**********, I believe, clearly is. So I pray now to the Father in Heaven, that through his grace, power, and mercy I can from this moment forward resist this terrible sin and demonic force that has so warped my mind and ruined my life because, God help me, I can’t seem to stop doing this on my own will power. And now that I am potentially facing the end of life, I feel that I must now break this awful force at long last before I pass from this world. So I implore my Father in heaven to grant me power to overcome and resist the temptation to further engage in this terrible sin after this day. Moreover, Lord, I ask that you might heal me in body and mind from this particular sin and all my other sins unmentioned here. I also beg His forgiveness, and I ask for healing for all those in this life whom I have offended or harmed in any manner or way, especially Michelle S., Sissy, Wanda, Patricia, and those whose names I cannot now remember, also I ask for the Lord’s healing for their family members. I ask all these things in the name of your Son, my Savior, and Lord, Jesus Christ.
