this is ludicrous, guy refuses to come to work when his boss told him to, guy gets fired
GOOD! first of all, the way they talk it’s like these people only get to see their families 2 days a year. FACT they were being asked to work 8 hours or so which leaves plenty of family turkey gorging time. if you want a job, man up and go to work

a lot of people do not celebrate your holidays, why punish them by deigning them fast food.

here’s an interesting story
one year i was working thanksgiving and i forgot my lunch so i ran over to McDonald to buy something to eat, sorry they closed T_T
then tried the grocery story few blocks over, no luck there either so i go to go back to work empty handed and go hungry all day because everything was closed. i wasn’t feeling to thankful i can tell you.
