I grew up with mostly cats. But I had a few dogs. But I ultimately grew up to be a cat person. But I don’t hate dogs. I just don’t like them. The way they smell makes me wanna puke. Especially wet dog. *Shudders in disgust* And the slobber that comes off their tongue is beyond f****** gross, makes my skin crawl. The loud barking is also obnoxious. But I don’t mind my friends dogs, but that’s because they don’t live with me. I don’t have to be around it all day everyday. Cats contrary to popular belief can be just as loving as a dog if not more. And they don’t slobber, the don’t bark, they don’t personally smell, litter box is another story. But a well maintained litter box doesn’t emit a house clearing stench. Anything a dog touches takes on its gross a** smell. So I know it’s a preference, but Cats imo are way better than dogs.

  • See I feel the same but I am a dog lover despite living them both, but my dog actually doesn’t smell since we make sure to wash him with rosemary to help repel fleas, he doesn’t slobber at all, he will only ‘speak’ when commanded and was trained from a young age.
I agree with the cat thing, because I also had a cat and he was the soppiest thing you could meet; all he wanted was to be stroked and be near you
