To lottery advice person.
It’s about how much is a person willing to spend without compromising their lifestyle. In my case and I’m not from USA but sometimes play US lotteries (yep, non-US residents can do that), I spend equivalent of maximum 200 $ per year. This is my limit and I keep it that way. That’s less than 20 $ a month. Why? Because losing 200 $ per year will not affect my not-so-great-working-class lifestyle and there’s still a microscopic chance that I could win something big. I’ve done statistics and calculations to slightly improve my winning chances but still didn’t hit anything big. Occasionally I do win some small change, about 50 $ per year in total.

I figured out a long time ago that hard work (extra jobs, working more than 8 hours per day and during the weekends) will never get you rich but good connections will. Powerful or good connections are necessary to launch yourself into upper-middle class or wealthy class. Unfortunately, I don’t have any good or powerful connections, so I’m in horrible starting position. That’s why lottery.

There are some unexplained things like that person who won 300+ million $ making 126 high-risk investments without a single mistake and who eventually disappeared. Than unexplained modern “intruders” on various older photographs etc. Most of such cases are fake and can be explained but about 5-10% are a complete mystery.
