I wish I had the solace of knowing that if my body is too tired and I am strapped in the passenger seat, someone is going to unbuckle me and carry me home.
I wish I had someone touch my shoulder
tell me that everything is going to work out
I wish someone could notice, the surgery, the gym, the diet, the effort
