Sooo … I’m 14 and my 7 year old cousin is coming over… does anyone have any good advice on how to impress a 7 year old who’s into martial arts, gaming, dragons, and other things?
As a teen. Not an adult. (you moms trying to act all hip and cool!)
How can I as a teen (with many similar interests to my cousin (and have a few games) appeal to my younger cousins tastes and make her think I’m cool? We’re both female by the way so it’s not gender. It’s just age.
And different living periods. (I’m from 2003-2018 she’s from 2010/2011-2018)

Try to tap into her music tastes. Even try searching her name on youtube etc for that. Not sure what you mean by impress but since she’s 7 you honestly only need to sit down with her and show interest in what she likes for her to be ‘impressed’ by you. Or draw a picture of a dragon as a gift.
I was thinking that! Since I draw really well (well as I’ve been told) and I drew a pretty cool ass dragon before I thought I should do that. Also maybe I could ask her to teach me how to do some martial arts moves since that would be showing actual interest and make her feel kinda mature or responsible I guess ..? I don’t know XD and she’s not childish (just like me) she’s more like and old soul type. And I don’t think she has a youtube channel. And she mainly likes gaming as I know of. I have minecraft on my pc (which she loves to play minecraft) but I have a Nintendo DS with 3 games NEW Super Mario Bros, Animal Crossing Wild World, and Sims 2 pets.
And I could get my drawing notebook out and let her draw in it (but I’d have to tare out some pages since I draw gore) and yeah. Sooo does that give you any more ideas? I mainly need help personality wise and in introduction. I’m not trying to be hip and cool like cringy I want to be like that school teacher everyone thought was nice and cool and thought was a pretty chill teacher. You know?
Do you have any standard paper? You shouldn’t have to tare out your art lol. Maybe think about investing in a decoy sketchbook, it’s what I do to hide my “art” from my Senpai ;P
