when I was little like in 1971- 1978 there were no flavored yogurts in the shops where I lived. all there was was a plain yogurt in plastic containers with the blue willow and dutch windmill patterns on them. I recall the first time I tried yogurt I was not keep on it and my mother could not understand why, later she used flavors to color it up and make it more tasty , with junket tablets or jams. we did not have near the luxury that kids have now nor the variety.

many shops were co-op as well. what I remember most was everything was brown and old and broken in the early 1970s.
