I try to conserve power and electricity, water, and all types of waste. the more conservative the better. I have hurricane type camping lamps I use in storms and black outs and I also have a firewood stove for boiling water if nothing else. I praise families who go back to the bush and live it the old way camping or small shed homes with outdoor kitchens. I don’t know if I could go that far but I praise their strength for giving it a go. its nice on nights when there is a black out and we all sit around the sitting room and listen to the radio rather then tv and I have read books by lamp as well even as a child.

conservation is almost a reality because the cost of water and power now is crazy.
