I came out as gay a week ago, and it astounds me that for all my life I have been surrounding myself with homophobic people. People have been throwing eggs at my car, telling me I’d go to hell and to kill myself. I thought it was in both the Torah and the New Testament that suicide isn’t allowed! I’ve had people posting r*** threats on my Instagram, and I’ve had people post homophobic messages on their Facebook and tagging me. I have male exes who think that I’m only pretending to avoid getting back together with them. I have friends that happen to be girls that won’t talk to me because they think that because I’m gay, it automatically makes me attracted to them. Heterosexual people, are you attracted to every single member of the opposite s** that you lay eyes upon? Of course not! That’s exactly how it works with homosexuality. I’m not turned on by every girl I see! Please. Just stop.
