On headstones there are two dates date of birth and date of death and they are separated by a dash. That dash represents everything that has happened in a persons life. If you were to die today would you be happy with what people would say about your dash? I wouldn’t not at all. There are so many things I could do to be a better person. It is a shame that laying one of my close friends to rest yesterday made me realize that it isn’t enough to just think about how i could be better but that i need to actually work to become better.
