My friend hates my husband. Before my husband came into the picture, my friend was completely using me. She is known to be a mooch, we became friends before I learned this about her and she started to guilt me into giving her what she wanted, I fell for it because I’m a softy as well as a giver. Downside to being a softy and a giver is that I don’t have much of a backbone and some people take advantage of people like me. I just want to be liked and accepted which isn’t something I really experienced due to having to move around a lot when I was a minor.

So my husband treats me like a queen and he supports me in every way he can. I told him that I want and need to put an end to my friends mooching ways, he was happy that I wanted to stand up for myself and put my foot down with her. Its taken almost 5 years to accomplish this but she now hates my husband and thinks that he is controlling. I tell her its me saying “no” but she assumes otherwise. My friend has been acting like a cold towards me for the last two years now and I am beginning to hate her with a passion. I do my best to avoid her now but she keeps trying to drag me down every chance she gets.
