I spend most of the time not thinking about it and just getting through the days, but… my eyesight is actually worse since my eye surgery, not better. My husband tells me to be patient but it has been almost 4 months now and I’ve seen basically no improvement at all. I lie and tell people it’s getting a little better over time because so many people donated money to help me get the surgery and I can’t bring myself to be honest. I can’t tell them, “Thanks but you wasted your money on me!” … I just can’t.

Why did this eye condition have to effect me? What did I ever do to deserve this?
