The future is pretty scary, we’ve all lived through a couple doomsday prophesies like Y2K and the end of the Mayan calander. Even pop culture adds to the list of apocalypses with zombies, robots, and aliens. Its fun to think about really, but out of all of them the scariest is the only one that is actually probable.
The technological singularity.
A hypothesis that states, accelerating technologic progress will create a runaway effect wherein artificial intelligence will advance past the point of human intellectual capacity and control. Thus, radically changing or ending human civilization in an event called the singularity.
The creation of A.I. will lead to an intelligence explosion, which is basically the exponential improvement on each succeeding iteration of the A.I. Construct, to a point that is unimaginable.
My point being is, even with all of this looming in the foreseeable future(hypothesized as being as soon as 2045) who cares if you use your instead of you’re?
