During the poetry reading in the darkened theater I suddenly shouted out the word “Unit!” in a loud, sharp voice. A hush fell over the stage and the room went quiet except for one old man’s voice somewhere who said “shut up you a******.”
The people sitting near me looked at me but I said nothing. The reading continued.
