and here’s what I’ve hear FWIW: the promoters of Woofin’ Wednesday(who also produce another weekly party too) are at a contract impasse with the owners of Savoy. There is hope they will work it out but are looking at other venues, but there’s the issue that they contributed a bunch of money for Savoy to build their new play area, and if they leave they want some kind of rebate for that.
