When my wife had her baby I was so stressed out that I got hemorrhoids. I was with her through the whole thing. She had no pain medicine and she was screaming same her mom was there. Her mom was screaming too. It was very stressful. Unnaturally stressful. There was nothing wrong medically….. the doctor kept telling her mom to calm down. It really messed with me inside because I was holding in so much stress. I was gripping her hand and I didn’t breath until that baby came out. It was only 10 minutes of labor. STRESS FREE ….. then all the relief came and all I felt was immense pain down there. Like … some of that pain energy transferred to me. Of course… not even a fraction of what she felt. But our bodies connect to others deeper than we know.
